The following fees apply when you buy train tickets using thetrainline.com
You can book up to 10 journeys in one transaction on our website – the booking fee would only be applied once.
Mobile App: if you are using an Android phone or an iPhone then a tiered fee structure applies:
Mobile App: if you are using any other mobile device a booking fee of £1 applies to each transaction
Website & mobile website: a booking fee of £1.50 applies to each transaction.
Most delivery and ticket collection options are free.
If you choose Next Day Delivery or International Delivery a fee of £7.50 will apply.
There is no card charge for paying with a UK Debit Card.
Credit Cards / PayPal / International cards:
Website bookings and bookings made on our Android or iPhone apps are subject to a fee of 2.0% of the transaction value.
Any other Mobile Apps or bookings on our Mobile website are subject to a set fee of £1.50.
