Swanley Park is celebrating its 25 anniversary this year, giving train lovers and country fans another excuse to hop all aboard and take the train to Kent.

According to Rail.co.uk‘s Nick Hair, Swanley’s the perfect spot for train enthusiasts – with its own railway, diesel and steam traction, model trains and miniature trains.

But if trains don’t get your engine running, there’s still plenty to see and do at Swanley as the park has a boating lake, paddling pool, play area, sandpit, bouncy castle and battery bikes, as well as 60 acres of picnic-perfect grounds.

It’s easy to get to Swanley Park by taking the train to Kent. Just jump on a service running to Swanley Town station and you’ll find the park just five minutes’ walk away.

And if you’re going to Swanley to celebrate its 25th birthday, don’t forget to check our journey planner for cheap tickets.
