Take the train to Manchester

Sometimes called the ‘capital of the North,’ Manchester certainly lives up to its reputation as a major urban centre. Test your moves on the dance floor or shake things up with a custom cocktail at one of the city’s many exclusive bars. If you’re looking for a night out without the fuss, why not head to one of the city’s classic English pubs and chat up some new friends about Manchester’s impressive local football clubs.

Take the train to Manchester Piccadilly to get you into the heart of the city, and from there you can get around easily with the city’s Metrolink transport system, or a good old fashioned taxi.

Take the train to Liverpool

Liverpool tops the list for Blighty’s best nightlife, and with so many great late-night spots around the city, it’s easy to see why. Catch some live music or comedy at one of the city’s world-famous live music and comedy venues and take in the atmosphere where greats like the Beatles got their start, or bust a move on the dance floor at one of the city’s trendy nightclubs. With so many options, you can do it all once the sun goes down in Liverpool, and some after-hours clubs even stay open until 7am!

Take the train to Liverpool Central and hop off in the heart of the city. From there you can walk, take a taxi, or make use of the city’s bus system to get you to your destination.
