Rail travel is undeniably romantic. From happy hellos and fond farewells on train platforms to the magnificent wrought iron arches and stately clocks adorning traditional British rail stations – the feeling of romance is all around when travelling by train.

Trains offer couples the opportunity to spend time together away from the cares of the world – sitting side-by-side and watching the world go by, you can cuddle and even steal a cheeky kiss or two. So, forget the flowers and chocolate this year and jump aboard Valentine’s Day trains. Cupid is sure to approve.
