Top 10 must-see’s for your first trip to London – #RSHGuides

Posted on

Every week 10 savvy train travellers will win £10 worth of loyalty points by tweeting their tips about a set destination to us at #RSHGuides, for us to share through foursquare. This month we’re focussing on London, and this week we asked you to tweet us with your pick of must-visit attractions for a first-timer to the capital.

Read on for this week’s winning tips. And don’t forget to share yours with us using Twitter, for your chance to win loyalty points to put towards cheap train tickets.

@MJRestaino took our first lot of loyalty points with a winning tweet to visit the classics like Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament, the London Dungeons and Madame Tussauds.

@jaffawine picked up some winning points too with a top twitter tip to try The Duck tour from the London Eye. The Duck is a tour that goes past most iconic London landmarks and splashes into the Thames – all using vehicles that were at the D-Day landings in 1944.

@Laura Cow also took home those loyalty points with a winning tweet to visit the National History Museum and then the Science Museum for a geeky day out.

Edinlass steamrolled into this week’s top 10 too with a tweet picking out the 4D experience at the London Eye. The 4D experience tells the story of a little girl who struggles to see London’s landmarks until her father takes her on the London Eye. Viewers can expect special effects including wind, bubbles and mist.

@Tweet_Emilie picked up those loyalty points as well with a cute tweet tip to walk around Covent Garden like Eliza Doolittle from My Fair Lady – a movie made famous by Audrey Hepburn and Rex Harrison.

@GDRichards also chugged into this week’s winning round-up with a great tip to take a flight on the London Eye for the best views over the capital.

@bjm2000uk also won this week with a reminder to try the Duck Tour and see London from the Thames – just like @jaffawine.

@Coralxx made it into this week’s winning picks too with a great tip to try walking through Hyde Park and Leicester Square after a flight on the London Eye.

@CallumCollie rail-roaded his way into this week’s top 10 with a top twitter tip to go to spend a sunny day in Richmond, sampling cider by the many pubs along the river walk.

@Jacques_TW_JLS pulled in the last of this week’s prize points with a tip to see if it works out cheaper going with a child, rather than just by yourself, with your railcard – then you’ve got a great excuse for going to top London kids attractions too.

Congratulations to all of this week’s winners – and thanks again for those great London picks! Don’t forget to keep your London tips coming, as there are even more points to put towards cheap train tickets to be won next week.
