It’s that time of the week again – when we announce the winners of our weekly competition. This Friday, 10 savvy commuters have won £10’s worth of redspottedhanky.com loyalty points by tweeting their tips to us at #RSH Guides, for us to share through foursquare. This week, we asked you for your favourite places to get a coffee in Leeds.

Read on for this week’s winning tips and find out where to go to experience the ground beans at their best in Leeds…

• Coffee connoisseur @bethlodge took the first spot on our winner’s list this week with a tasty tip to grab a slice of cake and a coffee from Laynes Espresso, an independent Espresso bar on New Station Street.

• Our next culinary master to make the top ten list, @JadeBowie1 earned a spot with a cafinated tip to grab a moment of peace and quiet at The Art’s Café, known for its relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

• For melt in your mouth goodness, @nrturner suggests complementing a piping hot cup of coffee by tucking into a delicious slice of cake from Heaven on Lands Lane.

• For an unbeatable view over Leeds’ Hyde Park, @CallumCollie says there’s nowhere better than LS6 – a retro café with bright décor, record sleeve menus and a wall of clocks.

@ha66ie earned those loyalty points too this week with some photographic evidence of the chilled sophistication at Opposite Café, a hangout known for its delicious fair trade coffee.

• Drawing inspiration from New York City The Bowery is @HansonLdn‘s top choice for its great vibe and emphasis on the arts.

• For sandwiches as filling as the coffee is delicious, @harrietwylie offered a hot tip to stop by Pickles and Potter, a deli come café that knows exactly what’s what.

• Take in the lovely old architecture, @Eh_El_Eye_Eh says, raking in the prize points this week with a great shout to choose from the treats on offer at The Harvey Nichols Café in Thornton’s Arcade.

@LindseyClark20 passed on a savoury tip to stay up late with a warm cup of coffee at La Bottega Milanese – offering visitors a great Italian vibe and a late night hangout to boot.

• And pulling in the last of this week’s points, @tommymc93 kept things sweet with his pointer to visit Sunshine Bakery and sample the Eton Mess cupcakes with a nice hot brew.

Congratulations to this week’s winners – and thanks for all of your Twitter recommendations! If you didn’t win this week, don’t worry – you could win in next week’s competition.
