Found in the East Midlands, Leicester is one of the most populated cities in the region. With a strong history in engineering, and the production of textiles, clothing and shoes. Travelling to Leicester by train

Leicester is at the intersection of two major railway lines from the north/south Midland Main Line and east/west Birmingham to London Stansted CrossCountry line. Leicester railway station is the perfect station to arrive at for a visit to the city. It’s in a great location for students of De Montfort University and the University of Leicester. Trains serving the train station are CrossCountry which connects Leicester to Birmingham and Stansted Airport and then East Midlands trains which connects Leicester to London, Lincoln, Nottingham and Sheffield.
