Aberdeen Station (ABD)

After Glasgow and Edinburgh, Aberdeen station is the busiest railway interchange in Scotland. It sits on Guild Street in the middle of the city, adjacent to Union Square. The station is served by three main train operators - East Coast, ScotRail and CrossCountry. It also serves as an interchange for Aberdeen ferry terminal.

There are seven platforms. Platforms 6 and 7 are split into North and South.

The operators offer services to Edinburgh Waverley, Dundee, Glasgow Queen Street and London. ScotRail services include a sleeper to London Euston, which calls at Carlisle, Preston, Crewe and Watford Junction. East Coast Trains run three services daily to London King’s Cross, calling at Dundee, Edinburgh Waverley, Newcastle and York. There’s also one East Coast Trains service per day terminating at Leeds via the same stations. For the Midlands and the South West, station users can catch a once-daily CrossCountry service calling at stations including Edinburgh Waverley, Birmingham New Street, Bristol Temple Meads, Exeter St Davids and Penzance.

Aberdeen station is served by a First Class lounge, customer toilets (including baby changing facilities) and showers.
