Derby Station, officially known as Derby Midland Station, is situated in Railway Terrace, to the south-east of Derby’s city centre. It’s only a short bus ride from some of Derby’s main attractions, such as Derby Cathedral, Derby Industrial Museum and Derby Arboretum.
Opened in 1844, Derby Station has always played an important role in the country’s rail network. CrossCountry Trains and East Midlands Trains both operate services to Derby, running trains to destinations such as London St. Pancras, Sheffield, Nottingham, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
