London Charing Cross Station (CHX)

London’s Charing Cross Station is situated in the City of Westminster, Central London, and its entrance is on The Strand. Opened in 1864, the station is easily recognisable due to the 21-metre high replica Eleanor Cross, which stands in its forecourt.

The station is close to many of London’s most popular tourist attractions, including Trafalgar Square, the Houses of Parliament and Horse Guards Parade. Other areas of London are easily accessible, as there are two tube stations nearby. Charing Cross Underground Station is on the Bakerloo and Northern lines, whilst Embankment Underground Station is on the District, Circle, Bakerloo and Northern lines.
