The National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham is the largest exhibition centre in the UK and is the 7th busiest in Europe! Opened in 1976 it has played host to the British Motor Show, Gadget Show, Crufts, BBC Gardner’s World as well as a host of other events, TV shows and major music events – Britney Spears will be bringing her tour here for two nights in October 2011.

As the NEC is situated adjacent to Birmingham International Rail Station you can reach any of the exhibition halls without stepping outside! Depending on where you begin your journey you can travel by train to the NEC by alighting at Birmingham International. If your point of origin does not provide a service directly to Birmingham International you will need to travel to Birmingham New Street first and get a connecting train (10-15mins) from there.
